CONSTRUCTION

Larry M. New is the sole owner/operator of Heritage Medical Group, Inc.  He is a life-long resident of Delaware County.  Mr. New graduated from Selma High School in 1964.  He graduated from Huntington University in 1971, majoring in business education.  He received his Master’s degree in business in 1976 from Ball State University.  In 1977, he completed his life license in secondary school administration.   He served for 18 years as a teacher, Athletic Director and Assistant Superintendent at Monroe Central School Corporation.   After many years of teaching, he pursued a new career path and formed Heritage Medical Group, Inc., which is the owner, operator and developer of many campuses in Central Indiana and abroad.  Mr. New received his license as a Nursing Home Administrator in 1990.

In 1989, Heritage Medical Group, Inc. began construction on the east side of Muncie, Indiana at Liberty Village.  Since that time, Heritage Medical Group, Inc. and its d/b/a, HMG Construction, has developed nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, physician’s offices, medical clinics for IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Union City, Upland, Yorktown and Muncie; and affordable housing apartments for seniors in Yorktown, Portland and Hartford City.  In 1991, HMG Construction started building its first condominium community on the east side of Muncie, next to Liberty Village nursing home and has expanded to include campuses in Union City, Portland, Hartford City, Yorktown and Anderson, Indiana.
